example 1
i wanna sleep with you
vs
i wanna wake up with you.

example 2
you save $50 by conserving electricity
vs
you lost $50 when you waste electricity.

In example 1,
It just take a little bit more than idiocrsy to know which sentence will gather more slaps from your girlfriend.

In example 2,
It is proven in an experiment that people who are exposed to the second sentence are twice as likely to conserve electricity than people who are exposed to the first.
Same meaning in both examples,
but different response to it.
Interesting isnt it?

conclusion:
truth alone seldom works.
most of the time it takes a little tweaking around the truth for things to get going.
